Mangororo Primary School, located in Kilifi county has kicked storm on Twitter over poor state of school infrastructure despite the schools being allocated with funds.

The unfortunate pupils were pictured learning in a flooded classroom after a heavy downpour in the area.

The story, is not new to the public after NTV had pointed out the same issue few years ago. Besides concerned Kenyans have been alerting the relevant bodies with no little action swinging into practice.

I took this pictures 20th Feb 2018 at Kadzuyuni pri, kilifi County, the kids were learning under the trees, I hope they have classrooms by now.. pic.twitter.com/5VKy7rjZkM

2 years ago, NTV ran a documentary on the poor state of schools in Kilifi. Despite primary school education being a National Govt function, Uhuru blamed Kilifi County and local MPs.

I have read that this school is in Kilifi County.

20 years from now, these children will be competing for opportunities with those who'll have attended Brookside School.

Shouldn't Uhuru be building schools for them instead of building houses for us? pic.twitter.com/dvrLhtkfMq

No one is blaming the current MP.. further 2M is more than enough to do a two roomed classroom. Read the report to see other classes built and in use. The issue is Ganze Cdf kilifi county money was allocated, disbursed and noted as complete..for mongororo primary school. pic.twitter.com/RaJGiXbAdJ
