Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris last week was part of the campaign to encourage cycling to work, a move that will help reduce traffic jam in Nairobi city.
However, her voters from Nairobi challenged her to cycle to parliament as a way of preaching water and taking it instead of wine.
From the view point, Passaris cannot cycle to Parliament, one of the main reasons are the poor of how our roads are designed without giving lanes for those with bikes.
Our roads are generally unsafe for riders due to design and lack of consideration by motorists and other users. Hopefully, we can change that through legislation and oversight. If you'd like to be part of these regular tours, let me know.#TwendeKazi pic.twitter.com/yPL53J312W

The roads are made in away their is no cycling paths, besides Matatu wreck havoc even on pedestrian ways therefore putting their lives in great danger.
Similarly, the Matatu industry is a network of cartels who benefit every second, trying to bring them down with lose in their business will instead see her lose her dear political life.
From Kenyatta Ave all the way to Panari Hotel on Mombasa Rd and back to the CBD all under 45 mins with an incredible team of mostly female cyclists trying to raise awareness about cycling as an alternative mode of transportation in our ever congested city. #DadaRidesWithMamaTaa pic.twitter.com/tpAjXO4zFz
