Muthoni wa Kirumba, a popular Kameme FM presenter and celebrated journalist, expressed her joy at being named among Kenya’s most impactful women. In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, she shared her excitement at the recognition, especially as it marked the first time she had been nominated in a broader category, beyond her work as a female vernacular presenter. Muthoni took the opportunity to commend other women in media, acknowledging their role in educating and positively impacting society. Other notable women who made the list include Martha Karua, a lawyer and politician, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, and Faith Odhiambo, the President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
