YouTuber and content creator Ruth K has officially ended her friendship and professional ties with Anne Waithera, popularly known as Bush Tailor, following a bitter fallout over social media account access. Ruth took to her platforms to issue a formal statement, declaring that she is no longer associated with Bush or any related businesses or entities.
Ruth explained that their relationship initially began positively, with collaboration on projects that later grew into a personal friendship. However, she revealed that their relationship eventually deteriorated, ending on what she described as “unfavourable terms.” The YouTuber recounted that the conflict started after Bush allegedly borrowed an extra phone from her and gained access to critical social media accounts, including Instagram and TikTok accounts linked to her son, Calvin Carey.
“I was unable to log into my son’s account. Upon attempting recovery, I learned that the email and phone number associated with the account had been changed, resulting in a complete loss of access,” Ruth stated. She also claimed that the ownership of the phone, reportedly an iPhone 14, had been transferred to another person without her consent.
In response, Bush Tailor defended herself, asserting that she had served as Ruth’s brand manager during past controversies, including a scandal involving Ruth’s baby daddy, Mulamwah. Bush claimed she may have unintentionally interfered with Calvin’s account while transferring information to a new iPhone. She also stated that she had been managing Ruth’s public image, particularly during situations involving Ruth’s personal life, and felt her efforts were unappreciated after being removed without compensation.
Ruth countered Bush’s claims, clarifying that Mulamwah had been her manager prior to their split and that she had not hired anyone else to fill the role. As of now, Bush continues to make public allegations regarding Ruth’s personal life and unpaid debts, leaving netizens closely watching how the dispute will unfold.
The fallout between Ruth K and Bush Tailor highlights the risks of mixing personal relationships with professional management, particularly when access to sensitive social media accounts and private information is involved. Ruth’s decision to formally cut ties signals a clear boundary between her personal and professional life while emphasizing the importance of account security for public figures.
