Sexy Kenyan pilot is feeling over the moon following the huge news that she will be the captain in charge to fly President Uhuru Kenyatta’s first ever direct US flight from Kenya.
Kenya Airways pilot Captain Irene Koki Mutungi noted in her latest tweet that even though she had not been confirmed, she cannot wait to take up the responsibility that is hugely beckoning.
In her tweet, Koki explained why it was widely thought that she will be flying the the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will leave Nairobi’s JKIA on October 28 and land at the John F Kennedy International Airport in New York the next day
“Thank you for all your kind words and congratulatory messages. I’m truly overwhelmed but KQ has not yet selected who gets to do the inaugural US flight. It was a press assumption after a media event I recently attended with the US Secretary of Trade. I hope I get the honor though,” she clarified.

The 42 year old pilot brags of being the first African female pilot to become certified as a Captain of the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” aircraft.
KQ has dedicated two Dreamliner’s which will serve two flights to and from US on a daily basis.
The long journey will not be possible without the provision of four pilots, 12 flight attendants and 85 tons of fuel each way.
