Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone becomes the latest celeb victim of divorce after he was left in cold by his longtime wife Daniela Atim.
In 2017, disappointed Daniela went to court looking for a divorce which she was granted later after months of struggle.
Jose aka Joseph Mayanja expressed his disappointment on social media, stating that he felt down and let by his own deeds to safeguard marriage.
“I failed, I was not the best I could be!…I let you be Be Daniella. God bless you always. I can’t prove myself more than I have… You have been everything but enough is enough, I wish you the best,” the singer wrote.
Daniela had told the court that the popular Ugandan musician would return home drunk, beat her up for no reason leaving her with physical and emotional wounds. She told the court that she would not stand such cruelty for more days.
Jose replied stating that he loved his wife very much, despite the critics that he was a strong Catholic believer who never thought divorce was an option in marriage.
Daniela and ‘Badilisha’ hit-maker wedded on June 7, 2008 at Biina Catholic Church Luzira in Nakawa Division. There marriage came to an end after 10 years.
