The following are six behaviors which increase self-esteem, enhance your self-confidence, and spur your motivation.

Image result for Self esteem

  1. Greet others with a smile and look them directly in their eyes e.g. A smile and direct eye contact convey confidence, bond of self-esteem. In the same way answer the phone pleasantly whether at work or at home and when placing a call give your name asking to speak the party want to talk to. Leading by example underscores a person with self-respect in making
  2. Second always show real appreciation for gifts or as complement. Do not downplay or side step expressions or affection from or from others. The ability to accept or release is a universal mark of an individual with solid self esteem
  3. Third, do not brag. It’s almost a paradox that genuine modesty is actually part of capacity to gracefully receive compliments. People who brag about their own exploits or demand special attention are simply trying to build themselves up in the eyes of others. And that is because they don’t perceive themselves or already of respect
  4. Forth, do not make your problems the center piece of your conversation. Talk positively about your life and progress you are trying to make. Beware of any negative thinking and take notice of how often you explain and complain. When you hear yourself complain and criticize someone and this includes self-criticism, find a way to be helpful instead of being critical all the time.
  5. Five, respond to difficult times or depressing moments by increasing your level of productive activity. When your self-esteem is being challenged , do not sit around and fall victim to paralysis ( by analysis)
  6. Sixth, choose to see mistakes and rejections as opportunities to learn. View failure as the conclusion of one performance not the end of your entire career. Own up to your short comings but refuse to use yourself as a failure
