Kiambu first lady Susan Wangare was arrested on Wednesday during mid-day together with other 15 other officials who are alleged to have approved of controversial structures that are being demolished by Governor Mike Sonko’s brigade.
Hours later, Sudan Wangare was granted a sh.80,000 cash bail from custody, pending investigation into the case.
However, a viral video of Mike Sonko has come out, showing Sonko trying to appeal for the release of Susan Wangare while asking others to be put behind bars.
The controversial governor is heard talking to a police boss named Ochanda, asking him to release her immediately.
