It was a fantastic weekend for Western Stima and Mathare United who won big. Chemelil Sugar, Posta Rangers and Tusker were also other winners of the weekend and only one draw was witnessed.

Western Stima coach Henry Omino leads the team as the coach of the week after his side managed a 3-0 win over Muhoroni FC. The result speaks itself, the side was impressive both offensive and defensive keeping returning Wycliffe Ochomo, plus his teammates Sammy Ndungu and Calvin Omanga at bay.
Goalkeeper
Posta Rangers Keeper Patrick Matasi shot stopping mission helped the side stop Sofapaka who are taking each match as a final as they continued to fight for a stay in Kenya’s top tier league and his performance earns him the position between the post.
Wesley Onguso who continued to impress both defensively and on attack will hold the full back role. He joined Stima’s attack on several occasion adding one more man in the side attack making it more dangerous upfront. Tuskers left back Shafik Batambuze made several deliveries in the 18 yard box from his left foot though he was let down by the attackers who failed convert them into goals. Defensively he managed pressure from the likes of Moses Mudavadi and Ali Bhai who have the trend of terrorizing opponent’s wings.
Chemelil’s Willis Ouma made several blocks to deny their opponents Sony Sugar a goal and did well on delivery of corners. Though he didn’t bag an assist during this corners he got one during play setting up Victor Majid for their winner in the Millers derby. He joins Western Stima’s Fredrick Nyarombo who ensured that the side did not conceded and was the one who opened the scoring for the Power men as they drubbed Muho at Moi Stadium Kisumu.
Midfield
Edwin Seda’s midfield prowess, good passes and shielding Mathare’s back four against Ushuru FC attackers earns him a central midfield role alongside Chemelil Victor Madjid whose goal gave the Millers all the needed three points to continue with their winning streak, maintaining the eight point gap between them and league leaders Tusker.
Striking
Mathare United’s Whyvonne Isuza bagged a brace against Ushuru FC and his first goal needed total sharpness plus good positioning same as the second goal that he scored after good position that saw him tap after Barnabas Tiema spilled the ball from a cross. These two goals that saw him become the clubs top scorer alongside Obadiah Ndege earns him an offensive role on the right flank in this week’s team.
Tuskers Danson Kago holds the right flank. He scored a goal that helped Tusker open a seven point gap ensuring they got the fourth win of the season at home. The impressive part of the goal was how he managed to control the ball the long pass before beating Micheal Wanyika in goal.
Kenneth Muguna will hold the attacking role just behind the striker after he managed to back up his superiority in attack with a goal in Western Stima 3-0 win over Muhoroni FC.
Timothy Otieno who returned helping the Rangers get back to winning ways with his lone goal leads the attack. His goal gave Posta Rangers a long awaited win and the side winning on his return shows that he all the side has been missing in the second leg.
