  1. Cleaning Business

Grab that vacuum and blow off some dust. I know so many people who are allergic to dust, and all you need to solve this is a vacuum cleaner which i assume you already own. If you like cleaning, and a few houses to pitch your idea to. Blow out that dust on weekends and make some money for yourself.

2. Delivery Service

Are you the kind of person who likes driving around town or riding your motorbike and have some free time in your hands? Utilize this time and start an errand service business, deliver packages to  people and get them to pay you for it.

3. Packing Services

Every time i walk down my apartment building there is a vacant house, that tells you so many people move out on a weekly basis. If you love organizing things, this is a business idea you could try out. Approach friends and family to get some business as you start out and then build up on the referral business.

4. Translation Service

Most of us can speak more than one language, which we can make use of at conferences. Some NGOs have conferences hosting delegates from all over the world, who need translators. If you are proficient  in languages such as Chinese or Spanish you can look into job sites for translation opportunities and all you need is some money to get there. And like any other relationship, if you do a good job they shall always contact you.

5. Yoga Instructor

All the Yogi who would love to do more and make that money, can make house calls to give people Yoga lessons. What better way is there to make money as you do what you enjoy doing?

6. Computer Tutor

Tech is everything in this era and everyone is out to get tech savvy. Tutor kids and adults on computers if you’re good at it. With computers a range of options present themselves to us, can you code? Teach people how, they can learn and be pros just like you are. You can also, attend competitive hackathons and make that prize money, get recognized and have more opportunities come your way.

7. Freelance Designer

Just like you, everyone is either looking for the next big thing or their big break. So why not either help them design a logo for their start up business or prepare that letter head they will need to make pitches.

On the other hand, we can never have enough skills. Why not tutor people to help them perfect their designing skills. They’re many opportunities for freelance designers in the country, you just need to keep an eye open and make the right networks.

8. Travel and Tours

Local tourism is a growing market for day hiking trips which one can easily organize with the right permits. If you look at sites like Rupu they have a vast range of local trips that you can add on to. People are into fitness and hikes are a great way to start off your trip plans.

9. Fitness Coach

Be a personal trainer, advice people who want to get into shape on the diets they should get under. Help them eat right and combine with the right exercise for the best results. Working out with a trainer makes one more disciplined than working out alone, you can train in homes or at a local gym during your free time.

10. Financial Adviser

Speaking from experience, budgeting Is not one of my strong points, with time I will need to be better at managing my finances. A financial adviser could be really useful in helping me or people who are like me in saving, spotting investment opportunities and making good use of their money. If you are a pro and certified for that matter. Let the skill make some money for you.
