Rocky Johnson died at the age of 75 years to unknown illness on 20th January 2020.
Better known as Wayde Douglas Bowles, began his career in the 1960s .
The father to The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson joined the World Wide Wrestling Federation and became a top contender in the National Wrestling Alliance.
WWE has already sent their heartbreaking condolences
“WWE is saddened to learn that Rocky ‘Soul Man’ Johnson, a WWE Hall of Famer, former World Tag Team Champion, and father of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, has passed away at age 75.
The statement added that he had been inducted into the famous WWE hall of fame by The Rock, his son
“In 2008, Johnson achieved the highest honor in sports-entertainment when he was inducted by The Rock into the WWE Hall of Fame where he will be forever enshrined as one of sports-entertainment’s most influential performers.
“WWE extends its condolences to Johnson’s family, friends and fans.”
He started training his son The Rock into wrestling in 1991 the moment he retired
The Rock went on to become a WWE star as well as a big celebrity in Hollywood.
