The Miss World Kenya franchise has seen the crowning of a whole lot beauties as winners.
Both beautiful from the out and in the inner each winner left a mark not easy to forget during their reign.
Here is a list of ten miss Kenya contestants who have managed to keep their beauty intact over the years:
1.Cecilia Mwangi – 2005
She won the title in 2005 and is currently involved in campaign against jiggers all over Kenya.
She was a student and a model pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer technology at Jomo-Kenyatta University of agriculture. She is the ambassador of anti-jigger campaign. She still upholds her stunning beauty to date.
2.Khadijah Kiptoo – 2006
She clinched the crown in year 2006 at the age of 21. She also embarked on charity works in order to give back to the society.
She has owns a food feeding program to cater for nutritional needs of orphans in the society.
3.Catherine Wainaina – 2007
She won the crown at the age of 27 and represented Kenya in
the Miss world contest held in China.
4.Ruth Kinuthia – 2008
She represented Kenya in Miss world contest in 2008.
Ruth is a lawyer and an administrator by profession and has won the
crown at the age of 26. She is still strikingly beautiful till date
5.Fiona Konchellah- 2009
She is also known as Miss Earth. She won these titles at the age of 23. She is engaged in finance career as a financial controller.
Fiona is also the ambassador of the tree is life campaign whose objective is to restore forests and natural resources.
6.Natasha Metto – 2010
She was crowned this title at the age of 20 after beating 11
other contestants at finals held at Brae burn theater. Natasha is a
cabin crew in her career life and also a part time model.
7.Susan Anyango- 2011
She won the most prestigious title in the year 2011 at the age
of 19.
She is 6 feet tall, soft spoken, always smiling and right
in color.
8.Shamim Fauz Ali- 2012
She won this title at the age of 18 years while she was still an
architect student.
She represented Kenya in the world beauty contest held in China in 2012. She embarked on giving back to the society through involvement in society based groups.
9.Wangui Gitonga- 2013
She was crowned Miss Kenya at the age of 23. Then she was a linguistic
student at a German school based in Kenya
10.Idah Nguma – 2014
In 2014 Idah was the current reigning miss Kenya. She got the title when she was 22 years old and marketing student at Kenyatta University.
11. Charity Mwangi – 2015
She won the title in 2015. However Mwagi was greatly linked to dating Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria
11. Evelyn Njambi – 2016
Evelyn Njambi first won Miss Kiambu 2016 before going on to claim the national crown.
The she was aged 23 years old studying a design course at Maseno University
12. Magline Jeruto – 2017
She was crowned by Nairobi women rep Esther Passaris at a deluxe event held at The Mall- Nairobi city.
She was aged 24 years at the time of award.
13.Finali Galaiya- 2018
The Indian decent beauty queen won the crown in 2018 when she was working as a presenter at KTN.
The award came when she was aged just 23 years old. She was also Miss India Kenya
