Thanks to the growth of the internet, there are now a wide variety of jobs that can be filled from anywhere that provides a stable internet connection.

1. Freelance Writer2. Virtual Assistant3. Web Designer/Developer4. Social Media Manager5. Email Marketer6. Animation Jobs7. Promotional Video Maker

There are so many viable jobs to be filled that aren’t dependent upon a fixed location. One of the best things about the large pool of jobs is that almost anyone can find one that suits them well.

1. Freelance Writer

Now, more than ever, there is a need for freelance writers in the areas of article writing, content writing, analogy writing, and proposing creative ideas that materialize on the pages of almost every website on the internet. Many of the large websites have staff writers, but a larger number of websites are choosing to outsource the content to freelance writers and other content creators. Having experience is helpful, but all that is really needed to get started is ambition, drive, and the ability to provide a new take on events that happen every day.

2. Virtual Assistant

In this age of technology, more and more businesses are choosing to operate almost solely online, thus bringing to light the need for virtual assistants to help them with staying organized and completing various administrative tasks. The tasks of a virtual assistant can vary greatly — some tasks may include creating documents related to the business, answering email inquiries, creating content, and more. Work from your own home or a coffee shop across town and never miss out on fresh air when working as a virtual assistant.

3. Web Designer/Developer

Businesses want all of their website visitors to experience many things on their site, but they must ensure that the visitor will feel that it is worth their time. This is where a website developer or designer will find their place. When a website has a successful design, it will encourage visitors to spend their time viewing all that the brand has to offer and will draw more people in to be engaged. The longer that a visitor is on a website, the more likely it will be that they are going to respond to the brand’s call to action.

4. Social Media Manager

Almost every single large business has hopped onto the social media craze as a way to directly reach their customers without dishing out the cash for ads on the radio or television. Not every large business has an individual to manage their accounts, which is why more freelancers are marketing themselves as social media managers in order to help businesses grow and expand their reach. If you have experience with gathering a sizable social media following, consider reaching out to a company to see if they are in need of help.

5. Email Marketer

This position is for those that are in charge of designing a business’s email advertising campaign and managing a subscriber list in order to build their client’s reach. This position is usually held by those who have a background in public relations or marketing as well as great communication skills. Being familiar with graphic design and web design are also pluses for an email marketer.

6. Animation Jobs

The animation industry is becoming very popular and more and more people are turning to the career thanks to the ability to work online. A job in animation not only allows for but thrives on creativity and allows the employee to draw from the inspiration all around them. An intriguing profile and confidence will land any great animator with the job of their dreams and the ability to work online.

7. Promotional Video Maker

Those who have backgrounds in filmmaking but desire to not be tied down to a location may consider becoming promotional video makers. Today’s media is using videos for almost everything, and the platforms are growing by the day. Many times, video campaigns require traveling to different locations to film, so this position is ideal for someone that is looking to travel for work.
