NTV TV girl property show has taken her last breathe after a long fight with lung cancer.

Cancer took her liberty in 2015 after diagnosis, it later worsened and developed to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Her collegue at Nation Media Group Larry Madowo said,  “My friend Janet Kanini-Ikua breathed her last this morning. She was brave & inspiring. We’re all privileged to have known her. Sleep well. “

In 2016 it seemed like she had won the battle,

“My dear friends, relatives, colleagues, supporters, prayer warriors, I have wonderful news! Our prayers have been answered! I am redeemed from the affliction of cancer!” she joyfully reported to her ever curious and caring supporters, both known and unknown.
