Romelo Lukaku is set to become premier league second most expensive player after Manchester United stole the lead chase from Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku fee agreed with Man Utd

Lukaku who is set to join medical trials before joining the red devils on their way to Los Angeles for their clubs preseason.

Club Captain Wayne Rooney has also returned to Everton, his boyhood club. The capture of 24 year old Lukaku is seen as the best ever replacement of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Telegraph reports that it is also another triumph for Mino Raiola, Lukaku’s agent who also oversaw Paul Pogba’s world record £89 million move to Old Trafford last summer as well as Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s £26.3 million transfer and Ibrahimovic’s switch from Paris St-Germain. It was reported in May that Raiola will earn £41 million from the Pogba deal and he is set for another handsome pay day as Lukaku puts the finishing touches to his United move.
