Anne Mvurya who recently won the SONU student leader post, is now fighting to fight her position after her close opponent moved to special tribunal to challenge the case.
According to Samwel Ayoma, who emerged second with 8 votes, says that Anne’s 24 votes were won on grounds of unfairness and low key credibility
On 9th May, Anne appeared before the tribunal which is chaired by a city lawyer, Anne was in company of her advocate.
The case was pushed to 14th May after a request from Ayoma.
In April, Anne was elected to replace Antony Manyara after he was disqualified from the race.
Anne, is the first ever female student to win the coveted powerful University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA), which was previously known as SONU.
