Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Health whose mandates are; To receive patients on referral from Hospitals or Institutions within or outside Kenya for Specialized Healthcare, To provide Medical Education facilities for Moi University and Research either directly or through other cooperating Health Institutions, To provide facilities for Education and Training in Nursing and other health and Allied Institutions, To participate as a National Referral Hospital in National Health Planning.
