Singer Vicmass Luodollar has delighted fans by introducing his newborn daughter, revealing her unique name, Crystal Palace Akinyi, in a heartwarming photo shared on Monday, September 30, 2025. The announcement sparked excitement online, with fans praising the creativity behind the name.

Vicmass, known for his hit song Bank Otuch, shared the baby’s date of birth alongside her name. “Crystal Palace Akinyi. 28/9/2025,” he wrote on social media.

When asked about the inspiration behind the name, Vicmass explained to TUKO.co.ke that it was linked to a football match. He is a Liverpool supporter, and the day before his daughter’s birth, Liverpool lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace. “Just like the baby, we didn’t know she would come that early. She was born the next day at 2:00 am. Just like Crystal Palace surprised Liverpool, her birth came as a surprise to us,” he said.

He further explained the meaning of the name: “She is Crystal (clear) Palace (queendom) Akinyi (very early).” The newborn weighed 3.5kg at birth, and Vicmass noted that fans were amused and excited by the originality of the name.

Fans reacted positively online, with one commenting, “My namesake, Akinyi. Congratulations,” while another joked, “Next is Liverpool Awiti.”

Earlier in September, Vicmass marked the 10th anniversary of his hit Bank Otuch. He highlighted the song’s continued popularity, owning the master rights, and its potential for international exposure. “Owning the master gives me leverage to negotiate deals for TV adverts and movies if the song is used as a soundtrack,” he said. He also praised the Kenyan music industry, noting improved structures and international opportunities for local artists.

Vicmass, with a catalogue of 38 songs, currently has around 8,000 monthly listeners. He encouraged fans to continue streaming his music and advised young people to stay focused and avoid negative influences.

Apart from fatherhood, Vicmass recently appeared on a relationship show, going on a blind date with 20-year-old student Angelique Khadija. The pair bonded over painting, sharing personal reflections and discussing love and past relationships. Their chemistry left viewers curious about a possible future connection.

Crystal Palace Akinyi’s arrival has brought joy to fans and followers, marking a memorable moment in Vicmass Luodollar’s personal life.
