WhatsApp has decided to implement some emojis in earlier versions of Android. They are already available in the Android 7.1 update, but older mobile devices do not exist (so far).

In addition to audio notes, emoji helps to make better sense in our conversations.

Some of the emojis are already implemented on iOS smartphones, but finally Android will see the light of the tunnel soon. Among the new emojis, we can find references to various professions and sports, new animals, and new foods.

In the new professions added, WhatsApp included policemen, firemen, artists, chefs, doctors, lawyers, farmers, mechanics, etc. In addition, as in other previous emojis, there will be the possibility of choosing the skin color.

Who knows if someone really interests you, but we can also add to our conversations curious icons like gorillas, birds, skateboards or a simple paella. In parallel, we will see that in the update there are emojis that refer to artists with international renown as David Bowie, who unfortunately died last year.

On the other hand, we will also be able to use emojis of users taking a selfie, detectives, computer scientists, unicorns, jugglers, etc. (all in both genders).

Likewise, Android users will have at their disposal the clown emoticon unsettling, almost identical to the one Apple released with the iOS 10.2 update.

The application wants to make great efforts to break with all kinds of stereotypes, because with the new menu emojis we can appreciate that along with the male athletes, there is a female alternative breaking with the classic standards of housewife, girls dressed in pink, girls Painting the nails, etc.

A total of 72 emojis will join the ranks of those already available in our messaging application. In addition, many of the classics we already know are redesigned.
