Former Papa Shirandula actress Jackline Nyaminde, popularly known as Wilbroda, has shared her candid views on marriage, spirituality, and relationships.
In a recent interview on the Iko Nini podcast, Wilbroda revealed that she does not believe in heaven or hell. She also addressed her marital status, explaining that she has no intention of getting married again and is content with her current life.
“I do not want to get married, and that is the truth. I usually see comments people saying I am old and you are not married, and yet I do not want. Imagine I am so okay. If I were to get someone, I do not think I would want us to be that. I would love to maybe just have a partner,” she said. She also clarified that she has no plans to have more children, as she is satisfied raising her only child.
Wilbroda described the type of partnership she would consider if she found love again. She prefers a relationship where each partner maintains their own space, living separately while spending quality time together over weekends or special occasions. “Because I do not know how, sleeping with someone every day for the rest of my life, and you’re just there with him, snoring, farting, and you are just there. Let everyone live in their house, and over the weekend, hang out. I am so used to living my life for years that I do not want. I do not want more kids,” she explained.
The actress also reflected on her past marriage, revealing some challenges she faced, including hosting too many guests and difficulties in co-parenting. She admitted that she is not friends with her baby daddy and described co-parenting as sometimes challenging.
Wilbroda’s interview sheds light on her personal choices, emphasizing independence, redefining traditional expectations of marriage, and prioritizing her own lifestyle and well-being.
