You leave home for work in the morning and halfway there you realize that you have low battery and that it will be a matter of a few minutes that your mobile says “see you”.

Your heart speeds up, you have forgotten the charger at home and you have no option to charge it at your workplace.

Your soul drops to your feet play? Even if you do not believe it, it is the problems of the First World of many users, being chained to “feed” their technology with cables plugged into the power grid.

Precisely, this will be part of the past in a few years and this chip can be one of the main solutions.

Energeous is one of the leading companies that is currently working to develop the necessary technology towards a wireless future.

Just launched a chip, which has been called DA2233, which is designed to be implanted in small electronic devices, such as our smartphones. Its exact measurements are 1.7 x 1.4 x 0.5 mm, much smaller than a coin of 5 euro cents.

The chip itself does not work as a receiver of energy, but when it detects a lack of battery, it operates as a receiver of electricity wirelessly.

This whole system is so tiny that it can be implanted perfectly inside a mobile phone, which could be completely changed to the future of mobile telephony or any other electronic element in the house that needs to be connected to the light.

And when can we see this technology included in our smartphones?

Recently it was rumored that Apple would have been working on it, but at the moment it does not seem that it has decided to take the leap.

In addition, if this project goes ahead, it will be necessary to install in our home and workplaces, charging stations that can serve as energy generators that launch our mobile devices (very similar to WattUp power towers that are marketing now).

For the moment, an effective load has been achieved in 4.5 meters around this type of generators, but we are sure that the technology will improve considerably in a few years.
