The Jubilee Government promised to launch SGR trains by June 2017. The dreams of a mega project costing about 400billon shillings is becoming a reality.

So far, the railway line is in Nairobi and already 3 locomotives in Mombasa port.

As for the normal Kenya, here are some common features about 10 of them you will need to know about them.

Kenya Raiways which will be operating the locomotives have shared some key features below.

#SGRPassengerTrains the sitting capacity on each coach unit will be as follows:
1. Business – 44pax
2. First – 72pax
3. Economy – 118pax
