There are tricks that can help the study which will undoubtedly be reflected in the exam scores. The biggest secret is the ability to organize study sessions.

You may wonder why it is so important and we will tell you that, because studying well requires having a good foundation, otherwise the building will collapse:

1- Doing math: it seems obvious, but it is one of the keys: “discounting” our available time to study everything that involves fixed hours (work, classes, meals, sleeping, other responsibilities, etc.) to try to take advantage of rest of the day.

2- One for each: as a general rule we should dedicate an hour of study for each hour of class. This rule comprises the following point.

3- Fair and necessary: each program, group of subjects, type of test, etc. it will have a different difficulty for each person, therefore, our schedule should be adapted to our difficulties. If we have some indications from the teachers, we will also give a different weight to the study time, depending on the relevance of each topic in the exam that we will face.

4- Attention to details: once we have enough hours to complete the study, it is important to specify the subjects or programs and the time dedicated to each one.

5- Little by little, a lot is done: to avoid getting squeezed, it is better to divide the subjects and study several times a week each one and not accumulate in a single session many hours dedicated to it. In fact, sessions of more than an hour and a half are not recommended, it is better to be in the range of 45 minutes to 60 at the most, take a short break and resume.

6- Alternate study subjects: whenever possible, it is good for our brain to surprise you with new studies, a very brief pause and changing to a different subject will help to maintain concentration. For example, if we were with Constitutional Law, we can then continue to study with Financial Management.

It is also convenient to start with a medium difficulty subject, continue with a difficult one, rest, resume with another difficult one and, from that moment on, reduce the difficulty.

7- I see it soon: I can believe that we are learning a lot, but without the review, the invested effort will fall on deaf ears. One of the ways to alternate is through the daily time to have some real hours of study (diagrams, memorization, etc.) alternated with the review through questionnaires, short questions, etc. and go back to the theoretical.

8- Leisure: the organization of the day must meet the responsibilities of family and work for those who have them, but there must also be time to do some kind of physical activity and leisure. Toning up our body will relieve tension and give us resistance.

9- My word is the law: at least, it must be for ourselves, to apply what you have planned in your organization and study schedule. In fact, based on compliance, we will create a habit that will help us a lot.

10- Flexibility: It does not contradict the previous point, but it is common sense to be able to apply it, after all, each day will be different both because the contents are not the same, and because we are not equally concentrated.

If we find that we need more time to complete the planned study, extend the time you have designated. If you finish something before, take the opportunity to do a little more revisions or move on to another issue that causes you problems.
