Kenyans will be charged a fixed one way fee of Sh.100 for the newly-launched commuter trains by Kenya Railways (KR).
However, the commuters are already up in arms complaining about the high prices.
The new DMUs will run from Nairobi Central Station through Nairobi 5 estates and the environs with a proportion of carrying 1.5 million people into and out of Nairobi CBD.
But some Kenyans who use as little as Sh.20 have question KR to look into their demands and lower the prices based on distances covered.
