A Kenyan seen hooked behind a fuel trailer has shocked Kenyans who were coming into terms with the new 16 VAT tax on fuel products.
The VAT slap was meant to help Kenya pay for its huge debt to the International Monetary Fund. Luckily the tax has been suspended by a Bungoma court.
Fares around Nairobi routes were increased by roughly sh.20 while those out of the city went above sh.200
