About 133 university courses were scrapped off by The Commission for University Education, CUE after an audit revelation which termed the courses as ‘causing agony’ to students who are still studying or those who have already graduated.
Top hit institution was Tom Mboya University College located in Kisumu city which had 25 not approved causes.
CUE blamed the culpable institutions for starting course for the purpose of minting cash.
CUE also revealed that some of the causes lacked both human and physical resources to support content delivery.
