Agence France-Presse (AFP), one of the world’s leading news agencies, is looking for dynamic and motivated journalists to join its main English-language newsdesks in Paris, Hong Kong and Washington.
The successful applicants will have a proven track record in journalism and will be comfortable writing and editing the world’s top stories to real-time deadlines.
We are looking for journalists with energy and ideas who possess a keen understanding of social media and the evolving digital media landscape.
The roles are editing positions which can lead to reporting assignments and longer term correspondent postings.
Strong writing ability, excellent news judgement, a sound understanding of economics and multimedia skills are all essential. Knowledge of global affairs and foreign languages including French and Spanish (for Washington) desirable.
