The Audi vehicle company has announced that its stand at the Geneva Motor Show to start next March 7 will be dedicated exclusively to its electric models.
The brand will display 4 new electric cars, led by the e-tron including the new Q4 e-tron, the compact SUV version.
The other two electric vehicles that will be exhibited are the Audi e-tron GT and the Q2 L e-tron that will be sold exclusively in the Chinese market.
“We have set a clear goal, because we are committed to mobility without emissions: in 2025, one out of every three new vehicles marketed by Audi will be an electrified vehicle,” said Bram Schot, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi.
Similarly, Audi will also bet on a new range of hybrid plug-in vehicles, which will stop using the name e-tron to add an “e” to its name. This is how the new Audi A6, A7, A8 and Q5 with TFSIe engines will appear for the first time in the Swiss show.
The German firm says that its electric bet will reach all market segments. To do this, it will use four technical platforms and product families to launch electric cars, whether they are battery electric or plug-in hybrids.
Therefore, it is also expected that the models A1, A3 and A4, as well as Q2, Q3 and Q8, become electrified motor.
Audi already presented the first member of another electrified platform in 2018: the Audi e-tron GT concept, a very dynamic coupe, which debuted in the past Los Angeles Hall
