Chef Maliha is mourning the loss of her father, Islam Mohammed, who recently passed away after battling cancer. The chef, known for her culinary expertise, took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of his passing, describing her father’s final days with him and reflecting on their precious memories together.

In a moving tribute, Chef Maliha revealed that her father fought cancer for seven days before succumbing to the illness. Just hours before his passing, she was optimistic as he was about to be discharged from the hospital. In her emotional message, she expressed gratitude for the time they spent in the final days, cherishing their conversations, laughter, and shared meals.

“Alhamdullilah. Ametangulia mbele ya haki and sisi tuko nyuma yake,” Maliha wrote, expressing her faith and hope that her father would be granted peace in the afterlife. She also asked for prayers for his soul, requesting that followers recite Surah Al-Fatihah for him.

As her family deals with the loss, Chef Maliha has also reached out to Kenyans for financial assistance to clear the hospital bill. The costs were mounting as they prepared for his discharge, and her father’s unexpected passing left them grappling with the financial burden.

Chef Maliha’s heartfelt message concluded with a promise: “Forever in my heart, Baba.” The community has rallied around her, sending messages of support during this difficult time.

This tragic loss serves as a reminder of the emotional and financial toll that can come with illness and the importance of supporting one another through such hardships.
