Renowned actress Marya Okoth has recently addressed her breakup with popular comedian Oliver Otieno, known as YY, on her YouTube channel. The actress, best known for her role in A Nurse Toto, responded to fan questions on Instagram after taking a brief hiatus from the public eye.

When asked about the cause of the breakup, Marya chose not to speak on the matter alone, expressing that she would prefer to discuss it in the presence of her ex-partner. “I don’t think I am going to talk about it because I am not with him here. Because of the respect I will not talk about it,” she said. She added that she was open to discussing it with YY, should he be present.

Despite the difficult situation, Marya’s response was respectful and mature, which garnered praise from her fans. Many took to the comment section to applaud her composure, with one fan commenting, “Maturity on another level,” while others described her as “Beauty with brains.”

Regarding her life regrets, Marya stated that she doesn’t dwell on past mistakes, choosing instead to focus on growth and learning from life’s experiences. “I don’t really move with regrets that much, in as much as I have had experiences that did not turn out as I expected,” she affirmed.

As Marya continues to move forward, her fans have expressed support for her healing journey, encouraging her to keep progressing.

Meanwhile, YY, who has moved on quickly, has been spotted with a new partner, sparking curiosity among fans. He recently shared his thoughts on relationships, emphasizing his desire to build a family and his preference for not taking long breaks between relationships. He mentioned, “I’m a family man, and that is what I love. I’m building one for myself and for the people that love me.”

Marya’s candid response and maturity have earned her admiration, with many hoping for her continued success and happiness in the future.
