Nerima Wako Ojiwa has confirmed that her husband Billian Okoth Ojiwa was found alive after he was reported missing on Sunday, 10th February 2019.
The politician and also a community mobilizer Billian Okoth Ojiwa told his friends that he had gone to Homecare Retreat Centre in Karen to “cool off”.
KANU through their director confirmed the good news too.
“The information we have is that Billian is in touch with the family members and the same has been reported to the police and therefore we’d give police time to find out the circumstances that came out of that social media circulation.” said Joseph Towett, the Kanu national executive director
Billian is better known for his project Ficha Uchi Initiative which gives school uniform to needy kids
He is also the chairman of the youth congress of the Kenya African National Union (Kanu).
His wife, Nerima had reported that Billian walke out on Sunday noon, never to return until today.
“He didn’t have his phone, his car keys or his office keys. I thought he had gone to the shop. I haven’t seen him since then,” said Nerima Wako-Ojiwa, the CEO of Siasa Place and a columnist with The East African,
