NASA’s anti-IEBC demos have been banned in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa following a directive from Acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i

The interior CS also noted that Norman Magaya, NASA’s CEO would be held responsible for any property which has been so far destroyed during their previous demonstrations in the country.
The directive comes after senior NASA lawyer James Orengo directed that the peaceful demos would become a daily affair from next week.
During the last concluded demos, at least scores have been injured both from the civilians and the police, but the police have been largely blamed to be brutal.
NASA were demonstrating to have IEBC reforms before a new fresh election is held after the Supreme Court nullified the just concluded presidential election that was held on 8th August 2017
