Veteran comedian Eric Omondi has strengthened his philanthropic efforts through a new partnership with city businessman and realtor Mwenda Thuranira. Known for his Team Sisi Kwa Sisi initiative, Eric has long been active in supporting people in need, organising charity drives, and advocating for social causes.

The collaboration was officially announced by Mwenda Thuranira via his MySpace Foundation and MySpace Properties. In a statement shared with TUKO.co.ke, Mwenda praised Eric’s dedication to community service and expressed excitement about the partnership. “We are honored to welcome Eric Omondi to the MySpace Foundation and MySpace Properties family. As a young boy, my late grandfather instilled in me the virtue of giving back to the less fortunate, a principle I hold dearly and continue to practice to this day. I am confident that together, we will create meaningful impact for the betterment of our society,” he said.

The partnership will focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and brand ambassadorship, combining Eric’s influence with Mwenda’s resources. Eric Omondi also shared his enthusiasm for the deal, citing Mwenda’s consistent commitment to community work as a key reason for joining forces. “For years, I have admired how you, brother, have consistently given back to the community from Mombasa, Nairobi, to Isiolo. I believe we share the same mission as the Sisi Kwa Sisi family, and that’s why I felt it was important to reach out for partnership,” he said.

Social media users responded positively to the announcement, applauding both Eric and Mwenda for their commitment to giving back. Fans highlighted Eric’s charitable work and expressed hope for future projects that support vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities. Comments included, “Welcome home King Eric Omondi,” “God bless you for doing this,” and “Indeed, there are better days ahead. God bless you for the good work.”

Through this partnership, Eric Omondi and Mwenda Thuranira aim to expand their impact on communities across Kenya, combining celebrity influence and business resources to support social causes and enhance lives.
