Lydia Munika
Dedicated to harnessing youth energy, talent and potential: Lydia Munika is the President of Kakamega County Youth Bunge Forum with 12 constituencies and over 1200 youth Bunges with an average of 25 members per group. Lydia is the only woman president in the network which covers 30 counties. She is also the Assistant Secretary in the National Youth Bunge Association.
Lydia has a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Economics and Business Studies from Kenyatta University. She is a Trainer of Entrepreneurs by International Labour Organization. A devoted leader, she has also volunteered her time to the Junior Achievement Western Kenya ‘It’s My Business’ Project which seeks to mentor high school students towards business and enterprise building.
As a YALI Fellow, Lydia will build bridges and make connections to enhance her knowledge. She will establish constituency entrepreneurship centers for training and empowerment.
