Popular actress and content creator Morin Mugure has recently addressed rumors surrounding her relationship with Steve Collins Kariuki, famously known as Wakanairu University. During a Q&A session on her YouTube channel, Morin took the opportunity to clear up speculation regarding her relationship with Steve, denying any romantic involvement despite their strong professional chemistry.
While the two share a remarkable bond in their work, Morin clarified that their connection is strictly platonic. “We are not dating. Mimi na love niko huko sitaki na yeye alisema anapenda wamama. I would have been so naive to date him, like aje, si nitalia, hio ni vumbi dust proper. He is my good friend, we have an amazing chemistry. Dating huwa inaharibu vitu mingi sana,” she shared.
She further explained that each of them has their own path and brand, and while their work may intersect, they are not interested in merging their personal and professional lives. “Each of us has our own path. I have my brand, and he has his. I don’t think the two align in any way. Maybe in another world where we shared the same interests, but for now, it’s strictly work,” Morin said.
In addition, the actress addressed a controversial statement made by Steve in a previous interview, where he mentioned that he disliked children. The comment sparked public debate, but Morin was quick to provide context. She explained that Steve’s words were taken out of context. “Steve and Keicy, my baby, have never met. Of course, he’d treat her well. When we talked about his comment on hating kids, it was something random. He meant that he doesn’t want to have a child who would struggle in life. Not that he hates kids so much that he would beat them up or anything like that. Or maybe he hates the idea of having his own kids until he’s financially stable,” she clarified.
On the topic of expanding her family, Morin admitted that while she has considered having another child, she is not yet ready financially. “I’ve had baby fever before and really wanted a baby boy, but right now I’m not in the right financial space for that. If I become more stable, open up another business that does well, or maybe buy another car and life is in a good place, then I’ll consider having another baby,” she shared.
Morin has always been candid about her personal life and values, and this latest revelation reinforces her commitment to balancing career, motherhood, and future plans on her own terms.
