Former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee says the sugar millers goal celebration against Mathare was not amusing
Former Harambee Stars head coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee says Muhoroni Youth’s goal celebration was not amusing at all.
The James Omondi led side celebrated their goal against Mathare in a way which could be easily mistranslated to street boys or chokoras. The tactician, who also led Tusker FC and Rwanda’s APR to regional glory, feels the side would have resorted to a different way of celebration.
“That celebration was not amusing at all, it created an unwanted image in the minds of the fans as well as viewers. Such celebration styles should not be allowed at all. What were they thinking, what did it mean, only they can answer that.”
Muhoroni Youth held their hosts to a 1-1 draw, with Wycliffe Ochomo scoring, while Whyvonne Isuza equalized for the league leaders.
