If ghosts ever wanted to attack Nairobi city and turn things around, 25th and 26th December would be a perfect timing for them.
This is because the city usually comes to a sudden silence and abandonement from the usual hustle and bustle of busy bodies.
The ever notorious city ravellers, nearly move to the countryside to spent time with their families and friends, living a handful of Nairobian left with street kids.
On a normal day in the city, it is not only difficult to find space to walk though or even drive, but also you risk being mugged or pickpocketed by opportunity thieves.
But shops, clubs, officers, schools and other notable entities were either being manned by watchmen or left to stand alone on their own.
The silence however does not go for long, since city dweller began returning as soon as the festive days are over.
During then, it is hard for a foreigner or any other person who has not stayed in Nairobi to navigate with ease.
