When Jubilee took over power in the tender days, Otongolo was a famous house-hold name in 2013.
With his Nyumba ya Karatasi and wembe poem, many of his audience could only afford not to laugh at their own demise.
But the poet has been out of public eye for a while and now he is back rocking.
Recently, Heads Up spotted Otonglo, as he is popularly known, hanging out with Uhuru’s daughter, Ngina Kenyatta.
The two were attending a function by Kenyatta Trust, which was overseeing the launch of Tuungane Executive Mentorship.
The project aims at connecting Kenyatta Trust beneficiaries who are in college, with mentors.
Otonglo won the president’s heart after he gave a stellar performance during the Kenya National Drama Festival concert.
