The disloyal employees are said to be in pursuit of salary increment

Romous added that those who had been fired were said to be members of the Kenyan Union of Journalists (KUJ) who were demanding for the implementation of a Collective Bargain Agreement (CBA).

While unveiling the new team on Saturday, January 14, NMG CEO Joe Muganda said that no one else would be fired. As such, this recent announcement has shocked many.

Among the notable causalities included Isaac Swilah (Sports Writer) and Juliet Nabwire (Sub-Editor)
