Rosemary Odinga made her first ever public appearance on Saturday 17th August since she fell sick and deemed out of public limelight last year.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s daughter who came back to public on her 41 birthday celebration fell ill in February, 2017.
Family and friends met at Deeps EA Horse Riding School in Kitusuru where Raila, wife Ida, Daughter Winnie and Son Raila Jr were all present.
Other top invites were Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, Pius Ngugi, Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati, former Alego Usonga MP Sammy Weya and businessman Edwin Ngonga.
Rosemary had suffered from a mild stroke before she was rushed to Nairobi Hospital. She was flown to South Africa for specialized treatment amid concerns of a brain tumor.
She later returned in May 2017 and she was not able to run for Kibra MP seat leaving it to incumbent Ken Oktoh who later own it.
