Kenyan content creator and comedian Mulamwah has found himself under fire from his baby mama, Ruth K, who publicly blasted him for resharing her photos without consent — a move she described as deeply disrespectful, especially in light of their recent breakup.
The drama began when Ruth took her son, Calvin, popularly known as Kalamwah, to a studio for a creative basketball-themed photoshoot. Shortly after she posted the pictures online, Mulamwah reportedly took screenshots and reshared them on his own social media platform. This action did not sit well with Ruth, who took to her Instagram stories to air her frustrations.
“Sometimes silence is taken for granted,” she wrote. “It’s been barely 3 months since the breakup, and I’ve faced disrespect in ways you wouldn’t even imagine in public and worse in private.”
Ruth expressed disappointment over what she feels has been a pattern of mistreatment, both behind the scenes and in the public eye. She went on to reveal that Mulamwah recently sent her KSh 5,000 — only to reverse the transaction shortly afterward, a gesture she said added emotional strain during an already difficult period.
“You send 5,000 and reverse it, then have the nerve to screenshot a photo I put so much effort into? The audacity is loud,” Ruth added. “Enough is enough. I take my respect back. One day I will tell my story.”
Her post has stirred conversation online, with fans divided on the issue. Some have shown sympathy for Ruth, praising her courage to speak out, while others urged both parties to settle their differences privately for the sake of their son.
The pair, who were once viewed as couple goals within Kenya’s entertainment space, shocked fans with news of their breakup earlier this year. Since then, tensions between the two have occasionally surfaced online, though both had mostly avoided direct confrontations — until now.
Mulamwah has yet to respond publicly to Ruth’s latest accusations.
As Ruth continues to heal from the breakup, she hinted at a time when she might finally open up about her full experience. Until then, her message was clear: she wants peace, respect, and the space to move forward without unnecessary provocation.
With Kenyan fans keenly watching, it remains to be seen how the situation will evolve — and whether both sides will eventually find common ground for co-parenting their son.
