South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has become the butt of the online jokes after a toe-curling moment where he struggled to fit on a protective mask on live TV.
President Ramaphosa was updating the country on Level Five strategy adjustment where the country would start seeing ease of lockdown from May 1 this year.
While fumbling to put on a face-mask on Live TV, he ended up breaking the basic rules of using a face mask such as touching the face and handling the inside of the mask.
Social media would then resort to online memes which the challenge dubbed ‘facemaskchallenge’.
