Bonfire Adventures Managing Director, Sarah Kabu, has kicked off 2025 with a powerful initiative to empower Kenyan women and youth through international job placements. Her Virtuous Women Foundation, dedicated to uplifting and supporting women, is offering over 1,000 job openings in various sectors, marking a significant step toward tackling unemployment in Kenya.
The announcement was made on her social media platforms, where Sarah shared her excitement for the new opportunities. Interviews for these jobs are set to take place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Ciata City Mall, 3rd Floor, starting at 9:00 a.m. Sarah encouraged Kenyans to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity, emphasizing the importance of women supporting women.
“Exciting news from team Sarah! Over 1,000 job opportunities abroad are waiting for YOU! This year is off to an incredible start, and we’re here to make the most of it together. Let’s continue to uplift and empower each other because women supporting women is what we do best,” she wrote on Instagram.
The job openings are varied, with positions in sectors such as construction, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and more. In her Instagram video, Sarah detailed the process and her vision for 2025, saying, “I want to assist over 1,000 Kenyans in getting jobs abroad. We’ve already started with interviews for cleaners, and 100 positions have been filled, with a few more still open.”
Sarah’s initiative also includes a newly launched recruitment firm, A-Z Recruitment Company, which she hopes will further assist Kenyans in securing employment opportunities abroad. She also highlighted the ongoing recruitment for construction workers, stating that new offers for positions like electricians, masons, and tile experts have already been received.
In addition to providing job opportunities, Sarah’s Virtuous Women Foundation aims to empower women through skill-building and self-reliance, helping them create better futures for themselves and their families.
This bold move by Sarah Kabu comes after a challenging year in her personal life, during which she separated from her husband, Simon. Despite the personal setbacks, she has remained committed to her vision of empowering others, especially women, through her foundation and various initiatives.
With the 1,000 job opportunities and her recruitment firm in motion, Sarah is making a significant impact on the Kenyan job market and offering hope to many individuals seeking better opportunities abroad.
