On February 15th, Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu was kicked out of Senate proceedings for being inappropriately dressed.
The sassy Senator Nyamu had accessed the parliament chambers in a sleeveless top, exposing her arms which is against the House rules.
Speaker Amason Kingi ruled that the House rules had been violated, and ordered Nyamu to leave the chambers.
The following day, she learned the lesson the had way, and changed her wardrobe.
She would go on to post a photo of herself dressed according to the standing orders!
