Jackson Makini a.k.a Prezzo is a Kenyan controversial musician. He is one of the early hip hop musician that is still surviving in the music industry up to date. He is a man who has had controversies with ladies and police at various occasions. He was born and raised in Eastleigh estate in Nairobi. Her mother Dinna Makini has ever given him parental support in both public and in the family.

These are some of the facts about Prezzo.

10. He hated school. At 16, he ran from home to escape school. His worst subject was mathematics. Had it not because of his strict mother, he would have dropped out of school.

9. His first album was released in 2004. Naleta action comprised of different hits such as Lets get down, Mahangaiko, Leo ni leo, Mimi na wewe and Mafans.

8. He was married to Daisy Kiplagat in 2008 and they divorced in 2012. Daisy accused him of extramarital relationships and drug abuse. The court ordered him to  pay 50,000 monthly for the upkeep of the baby.

7. He was publicly criticized by audience when he tried to fondle Betty Kyalo in a live television interview. His mother condemned the act and apologized to Betty Kyalo.

6. He participated in the seventh season of reality competition of Big Brother Africa in 2012. He emerged the first runners up.

5. He loves flashy lifestyle; lavish clothes, expensive jewelery and flashy cars.

4. His favorite book is ’48 laws of power’. His role model is Barrack Obama because he also believes in himself.

3. His antagonist in music has been Jaguar. In 2010, at a club in Westlands,they almost exchanged blows when he said that the BMW jaguar was driving belonged to his driver.

2. The most influential person in his life is his mother. He admires her achievement of being a single mother. His mother took the task of raising him after the death of his father in 1993.

1.He smokes cigarette. He has been smoking since high school.
