How can I not remember,
All the days when my life was sweet and precious
There nights when I was free from shameful memories and depraved thoughts
But my life had changed and things started to become sour.

More than once I was tempted by my feelings to act in a sinful manner that would have turned me against me
My feelings had led me into thinking there was nothing else I could do to make things right,
I felt like it was the end of the world and every human had turned their backs on me.
I was left alone in a dark and miserable world of my own,
I could not feel nor see what was right in the eyes of mankind
I had lost faith and acted against my will to become the greatest soul ever to live
I could no longer see the footsteps were my feet had touched the ground

All I could yearn for was the last day on earth when I could no longer breathe again
Because I could no longer see the need of my presence in this shameless despicable world of ours
I was scared and hollow inside.
But I remembered my past and came to realization that I had to find myself and mend all that had been broken.
I looked and searched for answers I could not find; only to realize I was looking in the wrong places, and yet again my heart was bruised.
I got in touch with my inner being and found all the answers to my questions, I therefore erased thy sinful memories and healed from all the pain and suffering life had taught me
And so from today till the day I no longer have to suffer any more pain, I will never forget the lessons life has taught me.
