The Movement For Democratic Change- Tsvangirai acting opposition leader tweeted on social media refereeing to Raila Odinga as ‘Mzee’ a title that is usually given to elderly people.

Mzee being a swahili word is a word of respect is it is solely referred to elderly or someone who is approaching old age.

But the word can be sued as an abuse, Like for a case of refereeing to a person who is still young but insist he is so old for such not good reasons.

Raila Odinga who has insisted on several occasions to be called as People’s President has been on many occasions called by his rivals as ‘Mzee’ which is intended to demean him from vying again or holding a top political post.

Raila was in Zimbabwe to attend the funeral of leader of opposition MorganTsvangirai who had succumbed to cnser
