Over the last one and half years ago, there is a new kind of crop of comedians who are inspiring a new genre in Kenyan comedy.

Armed with their social media handles, they are rising fast, and quickly penetrating a tough industry ruled by big and established comedians on mega TV shows such as Churchill Show

Their main and only source of communication is their smart phones armed with data bundles and its vital feature, camera tool.

Here are the best online Kenyan comedians with their best pieces of art.

1.Kartelo

He is exploiting a very new audience that has been scarcely represented in the Kenyan comedy.

If you need to listen to those jokes that touch on Eastlando slums like Kayole, this is the man to listen to every day.

Besides he is fresh and very creative with unique ideas

2.Victor Naman

He is the face of all Luhya jokes put in one bucket.

Victor jokes are so funny, despite the fact they target his own Luhya community

3.Henry Desagu

He exploits Kikuyu funny culture in the most funny way one would imagine in regards to boy-child and slayqeens

Desagu knows how to break between the Kikuyu line of trade , age and modern influence.

Desagu also targets young Kikuyu boys who moved to Nairobi in search of work

4.Ruth Kirathe

For first class audience, who love those westernized kind of jokes, with little or no influence of tribal jokes, then it is Ruth Kirathe.

Ruth is so unique and loved by her audience because she never strikes home tribal jokes, unlike most of her competitors in the line of comedy.

As they say in Kenya, comedy is about tribal jokes, but Ruth is out to prove the point wrong

Ruth is currently studying in Japan.

5.Propesa

Love football, then a group of about 5 comedians would be okay for you.

Propesa are so awesome on making football trolls and also political trolls related to DP William Ruto and Elgeyo Marakwet Kipchumba Murkomen

6.Andrew Kibe

Andrew represents boychild against being exploited by ladies in Kenya.

His jokes rebukes ladies who are exploiting men in financial and love related activities

Other than the rest, Mulamwala is so unique and fresh on spot on punchline of comedy

8.Ronoh Chebet

Her jokes are from and for people who live in leafy suburbs such as Karen, Lavington, Runda etc.

She is more of Ruth Kirathe, but more Kenyanized then Ruth
