Witness accounts that police involved Meru University Student Association Secretary-General Evans Njoroge in a chase, before shooting him dead after he had no where to run.
It is believed that Evans Njoroge was known to speak loudly about oppression
Earlier students had protested from the ongoing strike against increase in school fees increase.
Evans Njoroge was killed by rogue policemen because he was a student leader who spoke against oppression. They did not check to find out his ethnicity, name or political affiliation. Let me leave it at that for now. pic.twitter.com/BQZZ32Id8s
