Migori Governor Okoth Obado was arrested on Friday’s 21st September and taken to DCI Headquarters along Kiambu road for questioning.
The governor who was said to be a key suspect regarding the brutal murder of pregnant Rongo University student previously had recorded a statement with police in Kisumu.
He also had a press release in Nairobi, deonoucning killers of Sharon besides distancing himself from her death. He urged police to deep their investigation until they uncover the culprits.
Surprisingly, Okoth Obado’s wife Hellen Okoth interestingly was also taken to police to record a statement after she was also classified as a suspect into the mystery murder of Sharon.
Sharon’s unborn baby who died was buried, but her body remains held until her murders are found, this was according to the family statement.
Several suspects have been arrested, including the car believed to have led late Sharon to her untimely death.
